Salesdrip Report: VIPFollowers.Com
Monday, July 13, 2009 at 6:08AM Be VERY WARY of VIPFollowers.com, because they are doing their very best to hide their terms of service when you subscribe.
Take a gander at a screen print of their website home page below — look for the red circle I drew where they abbreviate Terms Of Service into “T.O.S.” then make it as light blue as they possibly can without being invisible.
Why are they hiding this as best they can (without dropping it altogether)?
Because part of what you’re agreeing to is their right to send self-promotional tweets to your followers whenever they want. They need your okay, so they make the link to the terms as invisible as possible. (Of course they put “Welcome” in BOLD BLUE PRINT.)
If you’re willing to help me bring honesty back to sales, here’s what you should do:
- Do not use VIPFollowers.com (be sure to tell them why so they know it’s salesdrip behavior that’s costing them.)
- Tweet this post to your followers if you’re on Twitter.
- Find one of their competitors who isn’t a salesdrip and use their services instead.
Together we can eliminate one salesdrip at a time …
